I.D. Systems, Inc. (I.D. Systems) is engaged in developing, marketing and selling wireless solutions for managing and securing high-value enterprise assets. The Company operates in two segments: IDS and AI. These assets include industrial vehicles, such as forklifts, airport ground support equipment, rental vehicles, and transportation assets, such as dry van trailers, refrigerated trailers, railcars and containers. The Company's patented systems utilize radio frequency identification (RFID), wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi), satellite or cellular communications, and sensor technology to address the needs of organizations to control, track, monitor and analyze their assets. The Company has focused its business activities on three primary applications, including industrial fleet management, transportation asset management and rental fleet management.
